This 2-day canoe route on the Merkys runs from Senoji Varėna to Merkinė, covering about 46 km in approximately 8–10 hours of paddling. The clear, cool water of the Merkys, forested banks and constantly changing bends capture the character of Dzūkija. We coordinate canoe hire, transport and timing to suit the group and current river conditions.
